AI Filmmaking for Youth
With: Kreativ Teknologi, Niklas Labba – Sep. 2025
Photo: Kim Ruben Hansen Lockertsen
This was an engaging beginners’ course for a district school, focused on using AI as a tool to bring to life old stories and fairy tales of parents and grandparents. We guided students (aged 5-14) through the process of developing their own stories, characters, and scenes.
AI PhotoBooth
With: Kreativ Teknologi, UiT Machine Learning – Sep. 2025
Photo: Kim Ruben Hansen Lockertsen
Working with Tvibit – Kreative Teknologi and the UiT Machine Learning Group in Tromsø, we created an AI Photo Booth that was completely self-hosted, running in conjunction with ComfyUI to generate selfies in different art styles for the Ta Plass! event that takes place every year at Tvibit, exhibiting what exciting things are going on at Tvibit as well as what they can offer.

Schoolwars
With: Ferske Scener – Apr. 2025
Photo: Kim Ruben Hansen Lockertsen
Schoolwars was an experimental play, merging virtual and physical performances live. Here we utilized Virtual Production screens and character tracking allowing the actors to have an interactive performance with custom environments and VTuber Avatars we made using VRoid Studio and Unity.
UE5 Workshops
With: Kreativ Teknologi – Nov. 2024
Photo: Kim Ruben Hansen Lockertsen
Workshops held as an intern at Tvibit – Kreativ Teknologi, teaching basics and intermediate Unreal Engine 5 game development.
We created all the assets and projects for the workshop from scratch and the participants would get access to these afterwards.

Godot Workshop

Workshop held as an intern at Tvibit – Kreativ Teknologi, teaching game development using Godot, for beginners.
We made a basic game from scratch using exclusively assets we created from scratch for this workshop. Participants were given access to the projects and assets to play around with afterwards.
Nonne – Music Video
With: Nonne – Sep. 2024
Photo: Jacob de Hoop
In this project we designed animations in Unreal Engine 5 that were used as background plates for a music video for the local Tromsø band Nonne. This method allows for rapid prototyping, adjustments and even elements of the scene being reactive or “interactive”.

Marion
Arctic Imaginarium – Aug. 2024

Marion marked our first deep dive into generative AI filmmaking during the 3rd 48-hour short film competition Gen:48 hosted by Runway.
It was a thrilling experience taking concept to completion.
Real Life Rebellions Metahuman
With: Sigurd K. Lakseide – Jun. 2024
Photo: Kim Ruben Hansen Lockertsen
The project Real Life Rebellions was an interactive and engaging workshop that explored the connection between our digital and real-life identity.
We created an Unreal Engine 5 Metahuman based on photographs and 3D reconstructions of the Norwegian philosopher Peter Wessel Zapffe that was then trained on several thousands of lines of information about his life as well as the books he had written, and in particular The Last Messiah.
This allowed participants to talk to a life-size version of Peter displayed on a big Virtual Production Screen and ask existential or philosophical questions with oftentimes quite interesting answers.

Naeon Teardrops – Music Video
With: Naeon Teardrops – May. 2024
Photo: Kim Ruben Hansen Lockertsen
An experimental, surreal music video where we used Unreal Engine 5 and hand-crafted environments and a Metahuman, modeled after the Tromsø musician Per Martinsen, tracked in real time and displayed on a Virtual Production screen as a plate for a music video.

Cyberpunk Photography Workshop
With: Cat Gundry-Beck – Mar. 2024
Photo: Cat Gundry-Beck
A workshop led by Cat Gundry-Beck at Tvibit in Tromsø where participants learned photography, with models posing in front of a Virtual Production screen depicting various Cyberpunk themed settings that we both custom-made and kit-bashed from various assets in Unreal Engine 5.

We believe that every project should be powered by a unique, imaginative workflow and the skill of artists behind the scenes where AI is simply a tool as part of the process, and as such we stand against AI Slop!
